House Calls: The Big Brother Talk Show

From Big Brother USA

(c)2008 CBS Interactive

House Calls: The Big Brother Talk Show is a companion program to the main Big Brother series. Available exclusively online, House Calls is broadcast live every weekday during a season, at 3pm ET/Noon PT. It has been in production since Big Brother 5.

Its host since inception has been Gretchen Massey, a radio show host in Los Angeles and admitted Big Brother fanatic. Joining her for the first two seasons was former Big Brother 3 HouseGuest and fan favorite Marcellas Reynolds. When Marcellas was selected to play on Big Brother All-Stars, his spot was taken over by a recurring cycle of guest hosts. When budget cuts forced producers to drop Marcellas from the program, it was decided to keep the cycle of guests continuing with former HouseGuests.

The format of the show is basic; each episode discusses the previous night's episode or events and speculation about events in the house between broadcasts. Viewers are encouraged to phone in with their opinions, views, and questions. Evicted HouseGuests are interviewed by Massey and guest host Dick Donato the following Friday.
